It is important to maintain the existing infrastructure throughout the municipalities. For this reason the City of Grande Prairie has an annual Road Rehabilitation and Overlay Program. For this program we are required to supply the design, tender and construction supervision for road rehabilitation or overlay sites.
Some of the project highlights for 2012-2015 are:
- Design and construction inspection for sites requiring road reconstruction including the replacement of sidewalks (2012 to 2014 construction).
- Design and construction inspection for sites requiring asphalt overlay including the replacement of sidewalks (2012 to 2014).
- Design of storm sewer upgrades along 105th Avenue to be completed in conjunction with the road rehabilitation.
- Project budget – $32.7 million.
