The Four Mile Corner Development has grown into a large scale commercial development. The initial phase of the development kick started the area though the installation of the required sanitary and water infrastructure. This infrastructure included extending a water main from the City of Grande Prairie.

Some of the project highlights are:

  • This project involved the installation of approximately 2.5 km of water main, 1.87 km of gravity sewer, and 4.5 km of force main.
  • In addition to the sewer the project involve the instillation of a regional lift station which included a wet well, valve chamber, pump and pump controls, and a backup generator.
  • Total value of underground for the project (including road, and shallow utilities) $2.2 million.
