Kraig Gramlick and Lori Thiessen were at Evergreen Park on March 30/17 as volunteer Career Mentors for the first Peace Region World of Choices Career Workshop. Junior Achievement organized the event which gave approximately 150 students in grades 9-12 the opportunity to learn about a variety of careers.
The students met with the Career Mentors as small groups in a round table format and participated in interactive discussions. Kraig’s presentation focused on engineering careers, while Lori’s focused on careers in the field of drafting and architecture.
BASE was pleased to be part of this education and career development event in our community.
