BASE employees and family supporters headed out last Friday for a great evening of challenges and competition at our first annual “Amazing BASE” event. Ten teams criss-crossed through the South Bear Creek ball diamonds and the Country Club South neighbourhood to see who could complete the most challenges and earn the most points. With physical, mental, photo, music, and scavenger hunt challenges, the teams deployed a variety of skills needed to complete the course in the 2-1/2 hour time limit. Afterwards, there were great prizes, food, and drinks for everyone. Special thanks to Kraig, Rhonda, Silvi, and all the other volunteers who did an awesome job of putting this all together. Everyone had a fantastic time! A big Congratulations to Team 10 who were the winners!
