BASE has been an active member of the Grande Prairie Chamber of Commerce for a number of years and several employees attended the Member Celebration event on Friday January 26. Dan Wong, one of our Municipal Engineers and Chamber 1st. Vice-Chair, had the honor of presenting the Business Citizen of the Year Award.
The event also welcomed Cris Sepola-Podsada as the 2018 Chair of the Board of Directors and recognized the accomplishments of the retiring CEO, Dan Pearcy, who will be stepping down this summer after 12 years of service.
BASE would like to congratulate all the award winners that evening: Rob Petrone (Clem E. Collins Awards for Chamber volunteerism), Al’s News (Dan H. Minchin Award for longstanding exemplary business), Devco Developments (Business Citizen of the Year), and Helen Rice (Above and Beyond Award).
